Posted by on Jan 15, 2019 in Assignments, Current Class, Messages

Hello Class,

Happy New Year!  If your new year’s resolutions include plants – your IPM assignment #1 can help you decide what to look for and how to take care of them in 2019!

Here is the assignment as a Word Document if you prefer to type the assignment.  Please do not increase the number of pages.  Remember to include 1 site map.

IPM Plan for Homegrounds Assignment # 1

Here are some tips on what actions you can take during the dormant season to prevent/management insect or disease problems.  These tips are from Master Gardeners who completed this assignment over the years.

IPM assignment 1 Notes

IPM assigment #1 is due on March 12.  You can bring the assignment with you to work on during your Garden Helpline training.

You will receive IPM assignment number 2 in late April/early May.  In that assignment you will look at your 8 plants, note any problems and how you will care for the plant over the growing season.

Hello Class,

Our lecture on Tuesday November 27 will be on Tree Identification with Jim Nichnadowicz our county 4-H Agent.  Jim  requested that you bring  5 different leaves (if they  are still attached to a small branch, that will be helpful for identification) and other tree parts, such as acorns or pine cones for some practice!

Enjoy the Thanksgiving Holiday!
