Posted by on Sep 18, 2013 in Continuing Education, News and Events, Newsletters and Bulletins, Publicity

Master Gardener Monthly Meeting, 7:30 pm, Wednesday, October 16.

Jack Gray, the owner of Bunny Fern Farm in Basking Ridge, will talk about ferns, an incredibly large and diverse group of plants that have been on earth more than 300 million years.  He will show how to propagate native ferns from spores.  At the end of this class, you will take home a package of spores and a propagation kit so you can grow your own ferns.  Please notify Richard Leister (Leisterr8@verizon.net or 908-790-1552) if you plan to attend so Mr. Gray can prepare enough kits for everyone who attends the lecture.

Mr. Gray has  BS degrees in Botany from Syracuse University, and in Forestry from the NY State College of Forestry in Syracuse, NY (current name: SUNY-ESF)
